Ch. Renefield Sport Coat ex Can/Am Ch. Stonecroft's Simply Smitten

Our beloved Mr. Bean was such a sweet boy and made us laugh every day of his life.  Such a cool laid back cuddly boy who was loved by all who got to know him.  Not always the easiest to show as he bored very quickly so I always had to have a smorgasbord of treats and crinkly things in my pocket, despite this he managed to do his fair share of winning.  In 1998, he won Winners Dog onto Best of Winners at the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America National Specialty under breeder Mary Winsome (Cordach).  Two years later,  he was Best of Opposite Sex to his mother Kirby at the PWCA(c) National Specialty under Leif Wilberg (Siggens) and the next day won Best of Breed at the PWCA(c) Ont/Que Specialty under Joan Logsdon (Blaizewood).  One of our biggest thrills in all our years of breeding was when Mr. Bean won BEST OF BREED at the 2000 Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America National Specialty under Mary Magness (Pemland).  A feeling like no other!!!!  We had now won 3 Best of Breeds at National Specialties in 3 countries - Canada, United States and England with 3 different but related dogs that we had bred......Arnold, Kirby and Mr. Bean!!!!!

Mr. Bean has proven himself as a stud dog as well.  He has produced many specialty winning children in Canada, U.S., England and Australia.  Not only did he win Best of Breed at the American National but his daughter, Sprite - Ch. Linincorgi Northwynd Everlasting - also won Best of Breed at the American National in 2011....... something that has never been accomplished before in our breed.  One step further, Sprite's grandson also won the same honour.  Certainly a producing family.
