Kirby - BISS Am. Cdn CH. Stonecroft's Simply Smitten
(1993 - 2007)

Kirby is Arnold's litter sister and she too did her fair share of winning but on this side of the Atlantic.
She finished her Canadian Championship very quickly as a puppy. The following year we sent her to the States where she picked up all her majors on the West Coast in hot competition.
She was Best of Opposite Sex, Best of Winners and Selection of Merit at the Cascade PWCC Specialty in 1995 under Eileen Pimlott. Her father, Am. Cdn. CH. Jade Tree Penway Up Country, was Best of Breed.
Then on to the Southern California and National Specialties. She won a huge class of 45 Open Bitches at Southern California under Allan Taylor (Belroyd). At the PWCCA National, she repeated this win again but went one better by going Reserve Winners Bitch under Anne Bowes (Heronsway).
Kirby was a dream come true. Anyone who knew Kirby is aware of her gregarious joy of life in and out of the show ring. In other words, she viewed herself as a princess. Kristi's heart dog!!! Now gone but never forgotten.
Kirby was very proud of her son, Ch. Stonecroft's Second Sight (Mr Bean).

PWCA(C) National Specialty Best of Breed 2000

Kirby won Best of Breed under renowned Norwegian Breeder Judge - Mr. Leif Hermann Wilberg of Siggens Corgis of Norway. Her son, Mr. Bean, won first Selection of Merit at this specialty.
Kirby was doubly proud when Mr. Bean took Best of Breed, the following day, at the PWCA(C) Ont/Que Specialty under Joan Logsdon (Blaizewood).

We were never more proud than when Kirby, Mr. Bean and BillyJean won the Generations Class at the Lakeshore Specialty 2004. There they stood THREE SPECIALTY BEST OF BREED WINNERS together in all their glory.

Kirby at 12 years old, a day before she won Best In Veteran Sweepstakes at the American National Specialty 2005 under Lois Zelenski (Tallyrand).
